"Faeries" is a tale of enchantment, true love, treachery, redemption, and defeat.  It is a tale of two Faerie Kingdoms where secrets are kept, and a battle rages forth to right a wrong of long ago.

The screenplay for "Faeries" is currently being revised.  Auditions for the entire cast will be forthcoming.  However, no audition dates have been arranged yet.  If you would like to be considered for one of the roles, please submit a cover letter stating your role of interest, along with your headshot and resume to ElfStar Productions at the email provided at the end of this page.  On the subject line of your email, please type "Faeries."  Headshot and resume must be submitted as an attachment as a Works Document (.wps).  Do not send headshot/resume as part of the body of your email, as they will be discarded.  Notification of audition date, time, and location will be sent by email shortly.

All roles demand a British accent.  Please do not submit your headshot/resume if you are unable to speak with a British accent.  Nationality and experience of actors are not important.  However, acting talent must be strong.  These are non-paying roles as they stand presently.  However, that situation may change.  Actors will receive meals, a copy of the finished DVD, and film credit.  Only serious enquiries, please.

CAST:

Princess Rowyn:  Age Range: 20-25.  Daughter of King Thalion & Queen Meren.  Engaged to Prince Sedryn.

Prince Sedryn:  Age Range: 20-25.  Crown prince of Nadhras Court.  Parents were mysteriously murdered a year ago.  Engaged to Princess Rowyn.  Will be King of Nadhras Court upon marriage.

King Thalion:  Age Range: 40-50.  King of Aranarth Court.  Close friend to the now dead King & Queen of Nadhras Court.  Father of Princess Rowyn.

Queen Meren:  Age Range: 40-50.  Queen of Aranarth Court and, thus, King Thalion's wife.  Mother of Princess Rowyn.

Gwathren the Wizard:  Age Range: 40-60.  Council to Prince Sedryn and the Nadhras Knights.

Lord Faroth:  Age Range: 30-35.  Head of the Nadhras Knights.  Loyal friend and companion to Prince Sedryn.

Datura the Witch:  Female.  Age Range: 25-35.  Council to King Thalion & Queen Meren.  Basically good, unless provoked.

Caran (The Red Faery):  Age Range: 17-23.  Lady-in-Waiting and companion to Princess Rowyn.

The Bean-Sidhe:  Female.  Age Range: 17-whatever.  Lives between the Dark Forest and Aranarth Court.  Cries when the death of someone approaches.

Trooping Faeries:  Male & Female.  Age Range: 16-25.  Joyous creatures.  Live in the Dark Forest, but can often be found at Aranarth Court, dancing & frolicking about, especially during celebrations.  Eight Trooping Faeries are being cast (4 male, 4 female).

The Malthen:  Female.  Age Range: 25-35.  They live near Nadhras Court.  Golden, wise creatures.  There are 4 principle Malthen roles available.

Nadhras Knights:  Male.  Age Range: 20-40.  Live at Nadhras Court.  Led by Lord Faroth.  There are 6 principle Nadhras Knights roles available.

Aranarth Knights:  Male.  Age Range: 20-40.  Live at Aranarth Court.  Led by King Thalion.  There are 6 principle Aranarth Knights roles available.

The Gwann:  Male.  Age Range: 20-40.  Deadly Knights who have been dead for quite some time and are somewhat decomposing.
